What a wonderful week we have had to celebrate the end of a super year at Buckshaw!
Thank you to all the families who joined us for our sports day on Monday, especially the grown ups who were brave enough to enter into their own races!  On Tuesday morning, we enjoyed a full run through of our talent show and what a fabulous line up we had!
From gymnastics to magic to football skills to singing, dancing, mime and voice acting! It was better than ever!  Congratulations to our winners! This was then followed by the most incredible performance of The Wizard of Oz by Year 6 - wow!

On Wednesday, Year 6 enjoyed a celebratory bowling trip, whilst nursery ventured over to Astley Park for a wonderful afternoon out.
Last night, we celebrated our Year 6 children who wowed us with their poems and shared some lovely memories of their time at Buckshaw before collecting awards for a range of achievements. This class have been an exemplary Year 6 class - embracing all the roles and responsibilities that come with being the oldest children in the school and enjoying all the opportunities that the final year at primary school offers. As we send them on their way to High School, we are so proud of their characters and values, and wish them every happiness and success for the future.
