Dear Parents/Carers

What a jam packed week it has been this week! Year 1 visited St. Laurence's church and Year 2 visited Southport Synagogue. A huge well done to both classes who represented schoolexcellently, showing great manners, respect, knowledge and understanding. Year 4 then spent the day at Lancashire Sings with some other local schools. They did an amazing job ofperforming the songs they have been practising and behaved beautifully. Year 5 spent two days and a overnight stay at Gulliver's World taking part in all sorts of activities from a scooter safari to a disco to riding the theme park. Despite the extremely wet weather, the children showed super positivity and had a wonderful time - although I'm not sure much sleeping was done!! Well done to each of these classes for showing our Buckshaw values.  I would also like to thank the team of staff who accompanied these trips, but also back at school, who made these experiences happen for our children.
Next week, we are looking forward to welcoming families into school for our Father's Day
breakfast.

Have a lovely weekend
Mrs Price
