Newsletter w/e 24/10/2025
What a fabulous end to the half term we have had this week! Today we welcomed Canon Neil Kelley into school from St. Laurence's Church, who led a harvest assembly. He has then taken away the most amazing collection of packets and tins which will be passed on to local families in need. Thank you to all our families who brought in donations - together we have made a big difference!
Last night, many of our children came back to school to enjoy our annual 'Monster Ball!' The costumes, face paints, hair styles were absolutely incredible and it was lovely to see the children all having a great time with their friends! From bopping away to their favourite tunes, to wrapping their teachers in toilet paper, a great time was had by all! Thank you to all the staff and parents
who helped out by decorating the hall, selling sweets and treats and staying to clear up afterwards. The biggest thanks of all go to the wonderful Danny Zoom, who came along to entertain the children free of charge - thank you very much!
As you will have seen on last week's newsletter, over half term, work will begin on our brand new school roof. Whilst this is an exciting project, it is going to mean a lot of disruption over the next few months, and school is going to look very different when we return from the break. I will post some photos on Dojo over half term so that you can share them with your children. This will help
them know what to expect. We will keep you constantly updated with any required changes to routines.
Wishing all our families a safe and happy half term. We look forward to welcoming you back to
school on Tuesday 4th November.
