As we reach the end of our first half term, I would like to take a moment to celebrate all that our children have achieved. It has been fantastic to see children settle so confidently into their new classes and routines, embracing the increased expectations that come with a new year group and rising to every challenge with enthusiasm and determination. Our on-site swimming pool provided exciting opportunities for children to develop their confidence and skills in the water, with many reaching new personal milestones. Forest School sessions have continued to inspire curiosity and resilience, as children have learned new skills, explored the natural environment and enjoyed the great outdoors. OPAL playtimes have been full of creativity, discovery and collaboration, with children using their imaginations, solving problems and creating memorable experiences together. Throughout the half term, we have also explored our school value of Respect, thinking carefully about how we show kindness, consideration and appreciation for others and the world around us. A particular highlight was our fantastic World Values Day celebration, where our theme of Together We Make a Rainbow celebrated the unique qualities that each person brings to our school community and how, together, we create something truly special. And most recently, our Spooky Disco was a huge success, with children looking incredible in their costumes and enjoying a fun-filled evening with friends. Thank you for your continued support this half term. We wish all of our families a happy, restful and enjoyable half-term break and look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 2nd November.
