Today, we celebrated World Values Day with our theme, Together We Make a Rainbow, reminding us that our values are truly at the heart of everything we do at Buckshaw Primary School. The day began with a whole-school assembly, where our amazing choir gave their very first performance. They sang beautifully and confidently, making it a truly spectacular start to the day. We then came together on the playground to create a living rainbow and reflected on an important message: a rainbow is beautiful because every colour has a place and every colour matters. Our school is exactly the same. Every child matters, every adult matters and every class matters. We are all unique, but together we create something very special. Throughout the day, children took part in activities linked to one of our school values, while our Year 6 pupils explored the additional value of Leadership. It has been a wonderful day of learning, reflection and celebration. Thank you for your support in helping the children dress in the colours of the rainbow. We look forward to seeing our pupils continue to demonstrate our school values through both their words and actions in the weeks ahead.

Have a lovely weekend.
