MESSAGE FROM MRS PRICE

This weeks attendance winners are Reception. Well done to everyone in Reception, you collectively made 100% attendance this week !!!
What a busy and exciting week it has been in school! At the beginning of the week, it was lovely to welcome the families of our new Reception children into school for the induction meeting. We cannot wait to see the children in a few weeks time for their first stay and play session.  Year 1 and Year 4 have both enjoyed trips this week, with Year 1 visiting Martin Mere and Year 4 visiting the Gurdwara in Preston. I was delighted to hear that both classes represented our school excellently, by showcasing their learning and with their super
behaviour and manners. I even received an email from a member of the public who had visited Martin Mere at the same time, congratulating Year 1 on being such superstars! It makes me very proud to hear such lovely feedback. After half term, there are lots of trips coming up, starting with residential visits for both Year 5 and Year 6. We also have our sports day, Father's Day breakfast and
summer fair to look forward to, along with preparations for the new school year. Please keep an eye on Dojo, as there will be lots of information and reminders being sent out.

Have a lovely half term - the weather forecast is amazing! We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday 2nd June.
