Dear Parents/Carers
What a fantastic week it has been! At the end of our first week of OPAL lunchtimes, I am so proud of the changes we have made and how the children have responded to them. Watching them play everything from dressing up, dancing, building dens, rolling in tyres, playing various sports and games, getting to involved in arts and crafts has been a delight. They have shown a great sense of responsibility, working together to tidy up all the equipment at the end of play in record time so that we can enjoy as much play time as possible. This is still only the first stage of OPAL and we have lots more areas planned to develop. In the next couple of weeks
this includes a music area, a messy cafe and an 'enchanted forest'. Watch this space!  This week we have also sent out packs to the children who will be joining us in September's Reception class. We cannot wait to meet you all and welcome you into our school family.
